At Verita Foundation, we believe education is not only about academics— it is also about nurturing wiser, more compassionate human beings.
Social-emotional learning, integrated meaningfully with academics, is essential for the healthy development of all children, regardless of background. And we know this transformation begins with those who teach and care for them.
That’s why we prioritize the well-being of educators—teachers, parents, and facilitators—and support them in creating emotionally and cognitively safe spaces for learning and growth.
🧠Our Approach
We work with public and private schools teachers and NGOs to bring Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning (SEE Learning®) and Cognitively-Based Compassion Training (CBCT®) to classrooms and communities across Romania and beyond.
Whether we are helping teachers manage classroom stress, guiding parents in supporting their children, or training entire school teams, we aim to nurture resilience, emotional intelligence, and ethical decision-making at every level of the educational experience.
All programs are adapted for classroom use and taught by certified facilitators.
đź“š A Bit of History
The Verita Foundation was founded over 12 years ago. In its early years, it supported vulnerable children in Romanian villages and hospitals through play therapy and material assistance.
In recent years, the Foundation has focused on transforming education—training teachers, supporting NGOs, and promoting social-emotional learning at scale.
We are affiliated with the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics at Emory University, and all facilitators are certified through its global training programs.
We believe transformation begins with connection—with the self, with others, and with the systems we are part of. Our team remains curious, committed, and compassionate—mindful of the long-term impact of this work.
